# Ditte Darina Shy

I founded Engineer ApS in Copenhagen after two decades of building and running
the systems companies depend on — platforms, data pipelines, databases, and the
teams around them. Most of the portfolio on this site is work I delivered inside
client teams before the company existed: every entry is something delivered, with
the situation it started from and
the result it reached *(the work is the pitch)*.

Engineer ApS was registered in 2025. The engineering behind it started a good
deal earlier.

This page also answers to its own two addresses, if either is easier to
remember or to pass on: [ditte.engineer.company](https://ditte.engineer.company/)
and [daryna.engineer.company](https://daryna.engineer.company/). Both open on
this introduction and the recommendations that go with it, without the rest of
the company in the way — and both name this page as the original, so there is
one of me on the internet rather than three.
